2006 Public Education Campaign for Children
The Committee, in partnership with the Department of Environmental Quality and the Environmental Education Council, is developing an educational campaign to raise awareness about our ground water and its susceptibility to contamination. The Committee is creating sample lesson plans that focus on issues regarding local ground water resources. Schools in both counties will receive the lesson plans along with kits that can be used in classroom instruction.
